Rainbow Challenges
Each week Reception love to find out what their rainbow challenges are going to be for the week. Miss Reynolds plans challenges into different areas, both indoors and outdoors to encourage the children to use ALL areas of our lovely learning environment.
Once a challenge has been completed and shown to an adult, the children collect a stick and add it to their rainbow. When all challenges are completed, the children are rewarded for ‘completing their rainbow’.
Red Challenge: Writing
Orange Challenge: Fine/Gross Motor Skills
Yellow Challenge: Creative
Green Challenge: Construction
Blue Challenge: Maths
Purple Challenge: Being imaginative
